It is 1972. The founder of Chi Chang Machinery (CCM) stood looking at a shipment that had just arrived. Inside, the products were damaged—crushed during the long journey.
He didn't just see broken goods. He saw the invisible cost behind them. He realized a painful truth: "It doesn't matter how hard the workers toiled to make these products. If there is even a slight flaw or damage during shipment, all their blood, sweat, and tears have gone to waste."
That moment of empathy shifted the destiny of the company.
He decided then and there to pivot from general machinery to a specific mission: Protection. "We must build a machine that ensures every product arrives as perfect as it left the factory."
Driven by this fatherly care, CCM developed Taiwan's first air bubble machine in 1976. Now, 45 years later, that same spirit is why global leaders like Sealed Air Corp (USA) and Intertape trust CCM to safeguard their reputation.
Breaking into the German market is the ultimate test for any machinery manufacturer.
